We came home from the hospital Sunday morning and have been resting ever since. Samantha seems to be adjusting well. Rose is doing great and eating a ton. We decided on Morgan for her middle name. Here is a video of Samantha holding Rose. I can already tell that she is going to be a good big sister.

Introducing Rose Parla!
It all started at midnight on March 26th when Heather said "I think I am having contractions." After I timed the contractions at five minutes apart we called the midwife, took showers, packed up some snacks, then drove away. We arrived at the hospital at 1:30 AM. Heather did amazing laboring with no drugs in the pool. After two pushes, Rose was born at 4:10 AM. She was covered in white vernix, it was crazy and amazing! 
Rose weighed 7 lbs, 14 oz., was 20 1/2 inches long and was really alert when she was born!
As the sun began to rise Friday morning I caught some Z's with my new beautiful daughter!
Later that morning Samantha met Rose for the first time. She was excited to meet her but even more excited to drink milk and eat snacks from the nourishment room.
We still haven't decided on a middle name yet but we have some ideas: Selah (pause, reflect) Anastasia (ressurection) Morgan (bright light) and Evangelina (messenger of goodness).
